הַחִטִּים וְהַזּוּנִין אֵינָן כִּלְאַיִם זֶה בָזֶה. הַשְּׂעֹרִים וְשִׁבֹּלֶת שׁוּעָל, הַכֻּסְּמִין וְהַשִּׁיפוֹן, הַפּוֹל וְהַסַּפִּיר, הַפֻּרְקְדָן וְהַטֹּפֵחַ, וּפוֹל הַלָּבָן וְהַשְּׁעוּעִים, אֵינָם כִּלְאַיִם זֶה בָזֶה:

Wheat and ‏darnel [rye grass] are not <i>kilayim</i> [the product of forbidden crossbreeding or working of certain animals with one another, planting together certain plants, or interweaving certain fibers one with the other]. Barley and oats [together], spelt and rye, beans and chickpeas, small peas and the ‏<i>tofach</i> [type of bean], white beans and kidney beans are not <i>kilayim</i> one with the other.
